Tom, thank you from the bottom of my heart, it is so great to read your article and helpful too, it is hard to find this clear concise help in the great cloud that is the internets. I am a struggling poet originally from Nigeria but now living in the UK, I wish to share with you a poem I have written about being a boy in my home of Abuja and having to come to the UK.

Great fire, where do you burn?
Is it my mind, my heart, my soul
Great mother earth, why do leave me?
Can I love you, can I hold you, can I sleep with you
Brilliant stars of the sky, guide me by night?
Will you illuminate me, will you enlighten me
Hear the wind of the desert,
Hear the wind of the desert,
Hear the wind of the TV
See the light of the car
Smell the fragrance of my hot dog?

Thank you for hearing me Mr. Colohue, please advise me well.

Hi Tom, glad to have you here on dotcotton.com!

Not sure what to make of your introductary paragrapf though? Think it could be a bit beter wroten. The problem I see u have with wroting is a lack of imagination. Invariabley the paragraps you are wrronting are an interesting mic of the cereal and the dry.

Try to work on this in the future.
