Music Tech Fest Berlin 2016: The Festival Of Music Ideas

FFrom the 27-30 of May, the city of Berlin will become the place to be at for all things music and tech. The reason is the Music Tech Fest.

The 10th edition of the festival merges music with technology in new and exciting ways, featuring bionic artists, innovative instruments, 3D music in virtual reality and a lot more. The fest will take place in Berlin’s Funkhaus – the largest recording studio in the world.

Music Tech Fest will be packed with activities and performances. Here’s a bit of what you can expect:

  • Bionic artists creating choreographed performance with body enhancements.
  • Electronic music producers racing against the clock to create tracks for the dancefloor in the Trackathon.
  • Women in music tech moving to the forefront of the music industry.
  • Neuroscientists and video artists creating music and visuals from the human brain.
  • Late night experiments and live performances through the night in the #MTFLates.
  • Kids learning to code, create music and build with computing.

Andrew Apanov (the founder of Dotted Music and WeSpin) will be there, together with a wide range of artists and people from the music industry. Grab your ticket here if you’re interested in attending.
